Erin redesigned her purchased dress.

Erin contacted me with a idea for a wedding dress and knew right away she was in need of something on a tight budget. She searched for a dress she liked, purchased it on sale, and asked me to add sleeves and lengthen the skirt. The final design was stunning and so much fun to create!

Here is a picture of the dress she purchased:

The dress she originally purchased on sale from designer Saja Wedding.

Erin wanted flowing sleeves added onto the dress. I found a matching (almost a perfect match!)  fabric on Etsy and purchased 8 yards to add the sleeves and lengthen the dress.

Here's a back view of the final sleeves. Erin was a trouper standing still for a long time while I got the folds to lay nicely.

Here are some final full length views of Erin looking stunning in her dress on her wedding day.

Annie's Dress

When Annie first contacted me she was asking for advice on her wedding dress idea. She knew the dress style she wanted and after we talked she decided to purchase a previously worn dress and have me alter it to custom fit her body. The challenge was the delicacy of the dress she purchased and that fact that it had already been altered to one body. Luckily the lace survived yet another alteration and the final dress fit her body as if it had been made for her.

In the end Annie decided to have covered buttons added down the back of her dress. Annie was patient and stood for quite a few fittings until we got it perfect!

In the following photos you would never knew how much money she saved purchasing an already worn dress, altering the fit, and adding to the design!
